Pastoral Ministries Diploma (degree option)

The Pastoral Ministries Diploma (degree option) program is 133 credit hours of intense study designed to equip students with the fundamental skills and knowledge needed for pastoral ministry.

The student who completes the Pastoral Ministries Diploma (degree option) will qualify for a Bachelor of Arts - Bible (Online) degree to be awarded by Piedmont Baptist College. Courses listed below that are underlined and in italics are to be completed via Piedmont's Spurgeon School of Online Education.

The student who completes the Pastoral Ministries Diploma (degree option) should:

  • Have an understanding of the challenges and rewards of pastoral ministry
  • Have worked under supervision in a church in a wide variety of pastoral ministries
  • Be an effective servant leader
  • Be able to work well with a variety of people
  • Be able to communicate God's Word to others accurately, efficiently, and in a variety of settings

Upon graduation, the student will be well equipped for vocational ministry in a church setting and for further education at the graduate level.
